Charlotte James

Working in private practice for almost a decade, Charlotte has a particular interest in sports injuries, their treatment and prevention. She has worked with county level cricket and several rugby teams and she is herself a keen runner and cyclist and a yoga and Pilates enthusiast.

Charlotte qualified from Brighton University in 1999 and went on to gain broad orthopaedic and musculoskeletal experience in the UK and Australia. In 2004 she gained her acupuncture qualification and uses this skill, in conjunction with manual (hands on) techniques and exercise, in the treatment of pain and injury rehabilitation.

She commenced her Pilates training in 2005 with the APPI. This is a modified version of traditional Pilates for rehabilitation of the injured athlete from the elite to recreational. Charlotte combines all her experience and skills here at reab, taking Pilates classes, private Pilates lessons as well as physiotherapy, including treating sporting injuries.
